About Me

Dhruv Rajvansh

I'm Dhruv, a CS grad student at USC graduating in May 2026. I've spent the last couple years building game engines, GPU simulations, and VR apps. Right now I'm TA-ing the game engine course at USC and finishing up a few projects before I graduate. I'm looking for full-time software engineering roles in graphics, XR, or general SWE. What I Do

Systems & Performance

C++ focused on performance: multithreading, memory, GPU optimization. I like figuring out where something is slow and actually fixing it.

Software Engineering

I write code that other people can read and work with. Clean structure, sensible design, no unnecessary complexity.

Graphics & Interactive Tech

Real-time 3D graphics : shaders, rendering pipelines, DirectX, OpenGL. Also built XR apps on Meta Quest 3 using Unity and Meta's SDK.

🔧 Currently Working On

TA-ing the game engine course at USC this semester. It's the same course I took last year so helping students debug the same things I got stuck on is pretty satisfying. Also contributing as an engineer on an MFA thesis game project as part of my coursework with building game systems in Unreal alongside a cross-discipline team. And working on a WebXR project in Three.js on the side.

🌍 Beyond Code

Gacha games, Valorant, anime I definitely didn't plan to start. Gaming is genuinely what got me into software. I still play a lot, and it keeps me honest about what good actually feels like when you're building something.
